Dearest Susan and David Flint,
Your son was my beloved student. He brought a wonderful spark, a love of film, a curiosity and openness to life to my classroom and I loved how he helped create a wonderful energy with the whole group. I learned of his passing the day I finalized the grading, and I wanted you to know his group project, and his personal work in that project, was the best of all my four classes. He received a straight A, a 98 grade point average. I could plainly see what I am sure you saw, a beautiful young man who was ready to give so much to the world. It is all of our loss. I will be out of town during the Braintree service, but am sensing sincere condolences to you and your extended family and friends. |

Susan and family -
I was in your Class at BHS. When I heard this need. I want you to know I stopped my busy life to hug each of my 3 kids and take stock of our love and good fortune. My son, Jean-Didier recalled Lucas at AWHS as unique and positive. I am so moved by his generous donation, his passion for comedy and the arts. Please know we feel his spirit and legacy. I missed our recent reunion but I am here for you anytime. If you’d like a cup of coffee and a laugh in Scituate, please reach out. I have canoes too!
