Joyce Saucier ( jallisonsaucier@yahoo.com):
Dear friend, Brittany, to know you was to know your whole family. I will never forget you introducing us all to your "siblings," as they came to help you in whatever school projects you were working on for the students. I was so impressed by the way you all supported one another and were one another's best friends; although I never met your father, I remember thinking what a magnificent dad he must be, that he and your mom had created such an amazing and loving family. My heart is broken for you. Just broken. Please know that I am thinking of you all and praying for your precious father.

John F. Rooney (Jfranroon@gmail.com):
I had the pleasure and honor of working with Mike and Carol at the Harvard University police Department, Mike was a quiet, dedicated police officer who went about his duties with compassion and caring for everyone he came in contact with. Michael and his partner Officer John Sullivan received the medal of valor from HUPD for their arrest of two armed robbery suspects who were holding up a convenience store while working an overnight shift in Boston near Fenway park. They observed the robbery in progress but waited until the suspects exited the store. No shots were fired, the arrests were made with no injuries. A hard working cop who lived in his uniform to support his family. Very, very sad that he lost his life when he should have been enjoying his family. His family should be very proud of their dad and grateful for his hard work. Michael Rest In Peace. Your friend , John F, Rooney ( ret.Lt. HUPD and ret. Lt. Groton , Ma. PD…………you were a credit to the law enforcement community. God Bless and rest in peace

Dear All of the Beal Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Michael and I worked together as Protection Officers at Mount Auburn Hospital before he worked at Harvard University Police. He was the one that came to assist me whenever I needed help.It was not easy being a female officer among ',the guys' and Michael would kid around with me when others were not supportive. I could always count on him.
I was very sad to see his name in the paper, knowing that was my old friend.Know my thoughts and prayers are with you . I wanted you all to know one part of his life that started his great career in law enforcement.
God bless you all.
