APPLEGATE, Ruth C. (Wolent) of Randolph, formerly of Dorchester and South Boston, December 11, 2009 at the age of 83. Wife of the late William H. Applegate. Mother of the late Steven W. Applegate. Devoted sister of Paul Dubinskas and his wife Nancy of Canada. Also survived by her friends Mark, Jenny, Beverly, Tim and David. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street (Rte 28) Randolph until 8:15 AM on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00 – 8:00PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Ruth grew up in South Boston and has lived in Randolph for 28 years. Ruth was the former owner of Connie’s Beauty Salon in South Boston. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Ones Choice.
