MACE, Donald E. “Don”, of Randolph, December 17, 2009. Beloved husband of Dolores (Petrino) Mace. Loving father of Barbara M. Garitty and her husband Bob of Aurora, IL, Donald E. Mace, Jr. and his wife Ellen of Hopkinton and Robert J. Mace of Boston. Devoted brother of Richard Mace and his wife Laura, Edward J. Mace and his wife Nancy of Abington and the late William Mace. Dear grandfather of Michael, Andrew, Madeline and Jennifer. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, until 9:15 AM on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, W. Roxbury. Don was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester. A Korean War Veteran, Don served in the United States Navy where he received the National Defense Service Medal. Don worked for over forty years as a transportation engineer for N.E. Transportation and was a member of Teamsters Local # 25. Member of the Randolph Amvets Post # 51. In his free time Don enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Resident of Randolph for the past 54 years.
