VENTRESCA, Anna “Annina” (Federico), of Braintree, formerly of the North End and Italy, December 31, 2009, at the age of 91. Wife of the late Rinaldo Ventresca. Loving mother of Evelina D’Amato and her husband Vincenzo of Braintree, Antonio Ventresca and his wife Carole of Abington and Ofelia Reddy and her husband Colin of Plymouth. Devoted sister of Rosa Massaro of Somerville. Dear grandmother of John D’Amato and his wife Janice, Marco D’Amato, Annemarie Sorgi and her husband Paul, Anthony Ventresca and his wife Paula, Michelle Ventresca, Ron Ventresca and his fiancé Olivia, Danielle Reddy and Chris Reddy. Sister-in-law of Mario and Anna Ventresca and Adolfo Ventresca. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, until 8:15 AM on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2:00 – 6:00 PM. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Dr., Braintree, MA 02184. Born in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy, Anna died at her home in Braintree, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Anna has been a resident of Braintree for the past 22 years. Anna’s greatest joy was being around her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
