HASTINGS, Mary B. (Doherty), of Randolph,formerly of Quincy,December 31, 2009 at the age of 75. Wife of the late George S. Hastings and beloved friend of the late Joseph Scibeck. Loving mother of Marian Billingham and her husband Rand L. Billingham of E. Sandwich. Dear grandmother of Jaclyn Billingham of R.I. Devoted sister of J. Leo and Robert W. Dougherty of Braintree, Sister Janet Dougherty S.C.N. of So. Boston,Noreen G. Cole of FL., Kathleen M. White of Plymouth, Paul I. Dougherty of France and the late Sister Mary Honor C.S.J., G Joseph Dougherty, Margaret M. Buckley, Sister Paul Marie C.S.J., and Elizabeth A. Johansson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home , 419 No. Main Street,( Rte 28), Randolph until 9:15 AM on Tuesday followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM in St.Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Born in Quincy Mary grew up there and attended grade school at St. John of Quincy. She was a member of the first class to graduate from Arch Bishop Williams High School in Braintree. Mary work for many years as a shift supervisor at Boston Envelope. She died on New Years eve at St. Elizabeth hospital after a brief illness.
