HOBAN, HOBAN, Laura A. (LaPointe) of Randolph formerly of Jamaica Plain passed away January 4, 2010 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Paul G. Hoban, son Peter Hoban, her parents Joseph A. and Laura (Murphy) LaPointe. Dear grandmother of Shawn Hoban of NJ. Beloved cousin of Lillian Perry and Edith DiCarlo both of Hyde Park. Sister-in-law of Joseph Hoban and his wife Ernestine of Medway, and the late Frank Hoban and his late wife Mary. Also survived by her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Laura was born in Boston had lived in Jamaica Plain for 10 years before moving to Randolph in 1953. She enjoyed knitting for family and friends as well as dancing. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., Randolph until 9:00 AM Friday followed by a Funeral Mass 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
