SMITH, Veronica “Ronnie” (Harrison) of Randolph passed away, January 6, 2010, at the age of 87. Wife of the late William A. Smith. Loving mother of Christine V. Chase of N. Reading, Anita L. Hanney of Bridgewater, Caroline Brignolo of Brockton, Matthew L. Smith of Halifax, Mark Harrison Smith of Braintree, Stephanie I. Whelan of Scituate, William A. Smith, Jr. of Rehoboth and the late Peter W. Smith of Abington. Sister of the late Rev. Leo S. Harrison, James “Frank” Harrison and Cyril Harrison. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. “Ronnie” was born and raised in Boston and has lived in Randolph since 1952. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Boston. She was a US Navy Veteran who served during WWII. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph MA until 8:00 AM Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Burial in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
