MEEGAN, Dennis G., of Randolph, formerly of Dorchester and Quincy, after a brief illness, January 9, 2010, at the age of 55. Husband of the late Cynthia (Smith) Meegan. Loving father of April Mason and her husband Michael of Bridgewater. Dear papa of Kevin and Christopher Mason. Devoted brother of Lawrence Meegan of Fall River, William Meegan of Quincy, Richard Meegan of NH, Cheryl Minicucci and her husband Mike of Hanson, Barbara Dargin and her husband Tom of So. Boston, Patrick Meegan and his wife Yuko of Alaska, Nancy Steidle of Plymouth, Michael Meegan and his wife Rachel of Walpole, Robert Meegan and his wife Michelle of Scituate, George Meegan of Scituate and Scott Meegan of So. Boston. Dear bother-in-law of Patricia Gundersen and her husband William of Brockton and Donald L. Smith, Jr. and his wife Linda of AZ. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00 – 9:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’s name to the Caritas Hospice, 3 Edgewater Dr., Norwood, MA 02062. Dennis was born in Quincy and passed away at his home in Randolph on Saturday, surrounded by his loving family. Dennis worked for many years as a pipe fitter for James Devaney Fuel. In his spare time he was an avid guitar player and enjoyed reading. Resident of Randolph for the past 13 years.
