FALCONE, Hugo J., of Randolph, formerly of Quincy, unexpectedly, after a brief illness, January 10, 2010, at the age of 86. Husband of over 50 years to the late Evelyn (Redman) Falcone. Loving step-father of Ernestine Haddad of Randolph, Evelyn McSweeney of Martha’s Vineyard and Margaret “Peggy” Sullivan of Randolph. Devoted brother of Sandina Colarusso of Randolph, Yolanda Hayward of Quincy, Emelia McNally of Middleboro and the late Theresa McNally, Peter Falcone and Louis Falcone. Beloved friend of Harriet Neary of Weymouth. Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph, until 8:15 AM on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3:00 – 7:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in Hugo’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Born in Quincy, Hugo graduated from Quincy High School. Hugo worked as a Union plumber and was a member of the Plumbers Union Local #12. After his retirement from the union in the early 70’s, Hugo became the plumbing inspector for the Town of Randolph for over 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, traveling and was an avid bowler. Hugo was also a wine connoisseur, who enjoyed making his own wine. Hugo was a WWII Army Veteran.
