CAMPBELL, CAMPBELL, Mildred Alice “Millie” (Towns) of Cortez, Colorado, formerly of Randolph, Plymouth, Quincy and Provincetown, December 24, 2009 in San Jose, CA from injuries sustained in a car accident on the day after Thanksgiving. A life long resident of Massachusetts, she had moved to Cortez, CO in 2002 to be near her son. Millie graduated from Stetson High School and the Brockton Business School and had worked most of her life at Sigma Instruments in Braintree, where she retired in from in 1986. Millie was preceded in death by her husband John H. Campbell, her parents, Mildred Mann Towns and Russell Leach Towns, her brothers, Russell, George, Arthur and Richard Towns and two nephews, Paul and Richard Towns. Her son, John R. Peters-Campbell of Cortez, CO, survives her and grieves with her grandchildren, Ian and Nel of Santa Cruz, CA and Eve of Provincetown and her great grandson, Calvin Peters-Campbell, as well as her brother William “Bill Towns and his wife Mary, sister-in-law Clementine and numerous nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
