MARSHALL , Florence B. “Flo” (Zaporowicz) of Braintree, January 18, 2010, at age 91. Wife of the late John G.“Jack” Marshall. Loving mother of William J. Marshall of Washington DC and John “Jack” Marshall, Jr. and his wife, Anita of Homosassa, Fl. Dear grandmother of Anastasia, Brooke, Geoffrey, Jennifer, Sean and Stephanie. Also great grandmother of Anna Marie, Cara, Dominic, Dylan, Emily, Hannah, Katie, Lauren and Rowan. Florence was born in Providence, RI. At age 5, she moved to Massachusetts and lived in So. Boston, Dorchester, Quincy and So. Weymouth. She graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Boston. Florence was a fashion commentator/coordinator, cosmetician, lecturer, and taught Culture and Poise at the Boston School for the Deaf and Braintree schools. She was the owner of The Marshall School of Modeling and Beauty in Braintree for many years A former member of the Braintree Women’s Club, Braintree Garden Club, Braintree Catholic Women’s Club, St. Clare Church Parish Council and the Mr. & Mrs. Club at St. Clare Church, the latter for which she served as a past president. Florence was one of St. Clare Parish Founding Families. Florence was also presenter and co-producer of her parents long running (37 years) Chopin Polish American Radio Hour on WESX, WJDA and WHIL radio. Reposing at the Cartwright Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, Braintree. Visitation will be Friday, January 22 between 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 23 will be celebrated at St Clare Catholic Church, 1244 Liberty Street, Braintree, at 10:00 AM followed by burial at Blue Hill Cemetery.
