O'Brien , William F. “Bill” of Braintree, formerly of Belmont, unexpectedly, after a brief illness, January 18, 2010 at age 61. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Kaminsky) O’Brien. Loving Step-father of Paul Nigl of Waltham. Devoted brother of Robert O’Brien Jr. and his wife Laurie of NH. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin Street, Holbrook until 8:15 AM on Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will be private. Born in Boston, Bill graduated from Waltham Vo-Tech High School. Bill worked as an auto mechanic for the past 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Resident of Braintree for the past 12 years.
