McSWEENEY , , Joanne (Slattery) of Holbrook, originally of Charlestown, January 20, 2010 at age 76. Beloved wife of James T. McSweeney. Loving mother of Michelle McSweeney McDonnell of Holbrook, Coleen McAdams and her husband Kevin of Abington, Maura Caldwell and her husband Jerry of Quincy , James T. McSweeney Jr. and his wife Danielle Brook of Franklin and her beloved daughter, the late Cheryl Ann McSweeney. Dear Nana of Cheryl Ann and Shannon McDonnell, Kayleigh, Jerry and Megan Caldwell ,Ryan and Kyra McSweeney. Sister of the late Mary Slattery, Ellen Johnson, Margaret Sullivan, Ruth Kirk, James Slattery and Frances Curtis. Sister-in-law of Paul and Kay McSweeney of Hyde Park and Mary McSweeney of Dorchester. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John and Ellen (Coughlin) Slattery. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin Street, (Rte 37), Holbrook until 8:15AM on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree. Joanne grew up in Charlestown and graduated from Charlestown High School. She was a homemaker and retired Operator for the New England Telephone Company after 20 years of service.
