COTE, Pauline F. “Polly” (Chance), of Randolph, formerly of Weymouth Landing, January 30, 2010. Loving mother of Cheryl Barkhouse of Brockton, William Cote and his wife Janet of Bristol, NH, Nancy Josephs and her husband Ed of Randolph, John Cote of Taunton and the late Robert Cote. Sister of the late William M. Chance. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM with a Wake Service at 7:30 PM. Burial will be private. Should friend’s desire, memorial contributions may be made in Pauline’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to The Smile Train, 28th floor, 41 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10010. Born in Boston, Pauline died Saturday, at the age of 86. Pauline grew up in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School. She worked as a retail clerk for many years before her retirement. An active member of the Randolph community, Pauline was a member of the St. Bernadette Seniors, the Randolph Seniors, the Randolph Council on Aging and a Town Meeting member. Resident of Randolph since 1951.
