NORTON, Robert W. of Whitman formerly of Randolph passed away after a long battle with cancer February 4, 2010 at the age of 65. He was the beloved husband of Kathi Enright-Norton and former husband of Rita Norton. Loving father of Daniel C. Norton of Whitman, Robert Norton and his wife Suzanne of ME, Christopher Norton and his wife Kristin of Bridgewater, Susan MacLeod and her husband Tom of Plymouth, Patrick Norton and his wife Kelley of Bridgewater, Kathleen Norton and her partner Jessica Foster of Randolph, Dawn Flibotte and her husband Kenny of Quincy and the late Donna Norton. Devoted brother of Fran LaPaglia of Marshfield, Janice Norton of Norton, Sandra Bowers of Brockton, Charlene Geraghty of Brockton, the late Marilyn Nee and Charles “Chucky” Norton. Dear grandfather of Ashley, Eric and Olivia Norton, Charles and Harrison Norton, Tommy and Joey MacLeod, and Abigail Norton. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Norton was Born in Boston. He lived in Randolph for many years before moving to Whitman 17 years ago. He was a graduate of Northeastern University. He was a former Human Resource Director for Fishery Products, Co. where he had worked for over 20 years. One of his greatest passions was coaching. He coached baseball, basketball, softball, and volleyball. He coached high school and college teams, as well as men’s and woman’s leagues. The saying everyone will remember him by is “Don’t be afraid to be good”. He will be reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, MA until 9:00 AM Tuesday followed by a Funeral at 10:00 in St. Mary’s Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. His burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
