FUMAROLA, Michael Paul “Mickey”, born December 15, 1921, passed away peacefully December 27, 2009 in Randolph. He was born and raised in the West End of Boston. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran who saw combat. Formerly of Somerville and Randolph. He is survived by his loving wife, Halle “Tillie” (Spero) and his devoted children Michael P. Fumarola, Jr. of Randolph and Linda Fumarola of Avon. Also survived by his sister-in-laws Mary (Connell) Fumarola of So. Boston and Paula Fumarola of Falmouth, many nieces, nephews and his cat “Spanky”. Michael was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Anna Mitchell and her husband Lawrence, Emelia Sferes and her husband Nicholas, John Fumarola, Helen Delrossi and her husband George, and Albert Fumarola. Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation period Saturday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St., Randolph immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM. Should friends desire in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his name to Hilltop Humane Society, PO Box 553, Randolph MA 02368.
