BERTINO, Grace M. (Messina) of Brockton formerly of Belmont and Jamaica Plain, passed away June 1, 2010 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Bertino who was killed in action during WWII. Loving mother of Frances A. Columbare and her husband Robert W. of Brockton. Sister of the late Dominic, Santo, Anthony and Joseph Messina. Dear grandmother of Robert F. Columbare of Brockton and Michael J. Columbare of No. Providence, RI. Also survived by her great grandchildren Tyler, Dylan and Brady Columbare, as well as many nieces and nephews. Grace was retired from Shawmut Bank where she had worked as a Vault Attendant at the Kenmore Sq., Branch in Boston. She worked there for over 20 years and retired about 25 years ago. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St., (Rte. 37) Holbrook until 8:00 AM Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
