SULLIVAN, John E. of Randolph formerly of Hyde Park passed away after a lengthy illness June 7, 2010 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 53 years to Margaret “Peggy” (Shannon) Sullivan. Loving father of Mark E. Sullivan and his wife Geralyn of Kingston, Pauline Sullivan of Randolph, Thomas Sullivan and his wife Patricia of E. Bridgewater, Stephen Sullivan and his fiancé Heidi Rivers of W. Bridgewater, and Carolyn “Caz” Sullivan of Watertown. Devoted brother of Mary Harting of Milton, Katherine Caliguire of Randolph, Eileen Donelan of Enfield, CT., William Sullivan of Peabody, James Sullivan of Canton, the late Edmund, Richard, Lawrence, and Michael Sullivan and Margaret Larkin. Dear grandfather of Brian and Marena Sullivan, Christopher and Andrew Sullivan and Emily Culley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was born and raised in Hyde Park and a graduate of Hyde Park High School. He was a Telephone Consultant for Stone & Webster/Shaw Group, Stoughton for the past 21 years. He worked for 35 years for Lucent Alcatel Co. During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Army and was a member of the Randolph VFW Post. He was a loving family man with great faith and wisdom who was looking forward to going home to the lord. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph MA until 8:00 AM Friday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
