MEGLEY, Patricia A. “Pat” (Shea) of Braintree passed away June 11, 2010 at the age of 74. Wife of the late Francis W. “Frank” Megley. Loving mother of Julie A. Kelly and her husband Mark of Hanson, Michael F. Megley of Braintree, Mary A. Grzybinski and her husband Fred of Holbrook, and Maureen E. Elworthy and her husband Richie of Braintree. Devoted sister of Edith Rannila of Leominster and Irving Shea of Milton. Dear Nana of Jennifer and Deirdre Grzybinski, Kayla, Marissa, Jenna and Ryan Kelly, and John Elworthy. Pat was born in Fitchburg, MA but had lived all her life in Braintree. Attended Braintree Schools and was a graduate of Braintree High School. She was the manager of Marvel Beauty Shop, Quincy where she had worked for 40 years and retired 9 years ago. She loved to knit, braid rugs and cook, especially for her family. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree until 8:15 AM Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, So. Braintree Sq. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
