GANNON, John T. “Jack” of Bradenton, FL formerly of Holbrook, passed away on March 22, 2010 at the age of 85, in Bradenton, FL. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Church, Bradenton, FL. Jack was the son of the late Joseph and Lena Gannon of Central Falls, RI. He was a veteran of WWII who served in the Army Air Corp. He worked for the Boston Globe Newspaper in the composing room for over 20 years. He is greatly missed by his wife of 61 years Mary (Scaro) Gannon. He is also missed by his 3 sons, Bruce, Kevin, and Alan Gannon and daughter Lisa Reichert, 8 grandchildren, a brother Joseph Gannon and sisters Anna Gannon and Genevieve Bucco and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited a Memorial Funeral Mass Monday, July 12, 2010, at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
