GORMAN, Bridget A. “Bea” (Sheanon), of Quincy, formerly of Brookline, unexpectedly, May 18, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in County Galway, Ireland, Bridget had lived in Brookline before moving to Quincy where she had lived for almost 30 years. For over 26 years, Bridget was the Head Housekeeper at the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain. Bridget had many passions in life, but being with family is what brought her the most joy. Bridget was the beloved wife of the late Edward M. Gorman. Devoted sister of Patrick Sheanon of Ireland, Margaret O’Shea of England, Christopher Sheanon of England, Nora Riordan of England and the late Kathleen Gaffey, John Sheanon, Mary Foster and Thomas Sheanon. Dear aunt of Patricia M. Cardaci and her husband Steven of Bridgewater and Kathleen A. Benvie and her husband Edmund of Pembroke. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period Friday morning from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM in the Funeral Home, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, 211 No. Main St., Randolph. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Bridget’s name to the Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368. Bridget will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.
