RICHARDI, Josephine M. (Espinola), of Braintree, formerly of Lawrence, after a brief illness, June 6, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 92. Born in Lawrence, Josephine attended Methuen High School. She was the co-owner of Braintree Window Cleaning with her husband Daniel, for over 30 years. Josephine was an avid gardener with many passions in life, including playing cards, reading, cooking and the 27 seasons she spent in Florida. Spending time with her family and friends is what brought her the most joy. Josephine was loved by many, lived a full and joyous life and will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Josephine was the wife of the late Daniel M. Richardi. Loving mother of Joanne M. Richardi of Braintree, Michael D. Richardi and his wife Jacqueline of Weymouth and Janice R. VanDerAa and her husband Craig of Acton. Devoted sister of Alvin A. Espinola of Winthrop, Kathryn T. Espinola of Haverhill and the late Edward Espinola and Evelyn Cardin. Dear grandmother of Sarah Tower-Richardi, Benjamin D. VanDerAa and Owen M. VanDerAa. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., until 9:30 AM on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00-8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Josephine’s memory to St. Anthony’s Bread for the Poor, 100 Arch St., Boston, MA 02110.
