LAHAM, George of Randolph, formerly of Boston, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on June 7, 2019, at the age of 90. Born and raised in Boston, George attended Boston Trade High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps, as an airplane sheet metal worker and aircraft handler. George worked in the transportation industry for many years driving trucks and cabs. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his family. George loved to cook, especially Middle Eastern food. He had so many great recipes, he made his own cookbook. He was a caring and wonderful man, who will truly be missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Loving father of Darren Laham of Randolph, Cheryl Laham-Carey and her husband Daniel of Braintree, Holly Morris of Braintree and the late Michael G. Laham. Former husband of Mary Laham of Randolph. Longtime companion of Diana “Dee” Watson of Braintree. Cherished grandfather of Krista, Mark, Corey, Madison and Christian. Great-grandfather of Zahra. Dear son of the late Moses and Rose (Shahood) Laham. Devoted brother of the late Alice Hanna, Elias Laham, Herbert Laham and Frederick Laham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Friday, June 14th, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 11:00 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
