MCCALLUM, Robert P. “Bobby”, of Avon, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 66. After high school Bobby attended U Mass Dartmouth and Norfolk Agricultural School. He worked for many years as an arborist for the Lowden Company and with his best friend, Dennis, for DMA Tree and Landscaping Company, up until age 64. In his free time, Bobby loved babies, gardening, birds, animals, and everything about nature. He enjoyed being outdoors hiking, camping, and skiing. A devoted son, brother and friend, Robert will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Robert was the beloved son of Mary F. (DiNanno) McCallum of Avon and the late Robert F. McCallum. Devoted brother of Linda McKinney-Sergio and her husband Charley of Avon, Maryann Groom and her husband Jimmy of Dennis, Paula McCallum of Easton and the late David McCallum. Bobby also leaves many nieces, nephews: Amanda, Shannon, Ashley, and Matthew McKinney, Janelle and Justin Groom. Also: Andrew, Madison, Aubrey, Bobby, Ryan, Eric, Makayla, McKenna, Hailey, Myla, and Rylin. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Monday, November 14th from 8:30 – 9:30 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Michael’s Church, 87 No. Main St., Avon. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avon.
