GIBBONS, Margaret E. (Iacomini), passed away peacefully, on November 10, 2022, at the age of 102. Born in Quincy to the late Iacobo and Clementina (Bersanti) Iacomini, Margaret has been a resident of Holbrook for many years. She worked as a Real Estate Broker in the residential real estate market for several years, prior to her retirement. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Margaret will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Margaret was the wife of the late Thomas Gibbons. Loving mother of Michael Gibbons and his wife Diane of UT and the late Thomas Gibbons and his wife Beverly Gibbons of Plymouth. Sister of Leanora “Lee” and the late Francis and Elizabeth “Betty”. Beloved grandmother of Thomas Gibbons and his wife Carrie, Stephen Gibbons and his wife Deirdre and Shawn Gibbons and his wife Jennifer, all of Plymouth. Great Grandmother of Shawn Cole, Shane Gibbons, Emma Gibbons and TJ Lynn. Also survived by her dear friends, Wayne and Donna Rogiers and their children, Justin, Jonathan, and Ashley Nichols as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Friday, November 18th, from 9:00 – 10:30 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin Street (RT 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 153 So. Franklin St., Holbrook. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:30 PM.
